I just wanted to buy Minecraft on my pc (windows 10) but can't decide between the Java edition or Windows 10 edition. In general, I don't know my way around that well and therefore need help. Advantages & disadvantages of the respective editions? Which one is better for you, which one would you recommend?
I would say Java Version.

Buy the java edition, it's normal
The Java version is more extensive, has a freer server system, you have no console or mobile players on the servers (this is the case with Bedrock (Win 10 Edition)).
The advantage of the Bedrock Edition is that there's RTX compatibility. Otherwise there are almost only disadvantages.

Reasons:
Redstone works better than in Win10 edition.
Modifications etc. Easy to install approx. C: \\ user \ appdata \ roaming \ .minecraft \ ressuourcpack
