On Steam there are already en masse games that run natively under Linux.

In fact, I would not call Minecraft exciting, but it's a great game to encourage creativity and it can be fun too.
Counter Strike Global Offensive is certainly not fun, but quite exciting and if it's been played by so many for years, it's good too.
Defense of the Ancients 2 is certainly fun and exciting at times.
Unturned sure has its fun moments, tension is more likely to replace with expectation (of an attack) I would say.
