So, me and my friend want to play Minecraft over Lan but it does not work. It has always worked, but now that we're somewhere else with another wireless, it does not work.
We have done everything right: In the wireless network and stop there as the "Open Lan" button.
I had the problem more often.
Try the following:
Press Win + R and then enter cmd. It would have to open a small black window.
Then enter ipconfig. There would have to be a long list of different IP addresses or something. Look at the list for the IPv4 address.
So this process has to do the one who opens the LAN world. The guest then has to click in multiplayer under "directly connect" and enter the number of IPv4 address. In front of the address must also be the number of the LAN world.
For example: 35442: 124.362.0.563
At least I remember it, there was also a good video on Youtube, but I can't find it anymore.
It would have to work then.
