Why does my mouse sensitivity change when i switch version in Minecraft?

Whenever I change from the 1.8 with a 67er Sensi to the 1.16, I have to set it to 97 so that the Sensi remains the same. Why is it like that or why does one have a normal Sensi in the 1.8 with 67 and in the 1.16 is a 67 Sensi much slower?

If you change the version, all your options will be reset. You have to switch between the versions more often then it gets used to it and the settings are spared

That is the case with many. You just have to adjust that.

Because the 1.8 and 1.16 are very far apart and that's why there are bugs like this one. The 1.8.9 has been around since the end of 2015
