Are Minecraft and GTA too far apart for YT?

I think these are the 2 games where I have a lot of content and feel like it. But one is a survival / craft / building game and the other is a gangster / 1st / 3rd person shooter.

Are the two games too far apart? I would also do other things like shooters / racing / gangsters. I usually get 8-30 clicks on videos.

"Do what you want to do"

Does everyone always have to be concerned with clicks?

And if you really want to be successful, it often doesn't depend on the games. It's about the quality and how you reveal yourself.

No

Just do what you feel like doing. If you will only produce content that only aims to get as many clicks as possible, you will not have long success and you will not have long fun with it.

Sn

I'm not just about clicks, I also enjoy it, but it is easy to demotivate when you put a lot of time into a video, you think it's really good and then it hardly gets any clicks.

It is important that you have fun yourself. If you're up for both games, then play both. So you also have more content. In any case, I would watch both Let's Plays if I followed you. Gronkh does not make its content dependent on a genre and is one of the largest German-speaking Let's Players. And with him I used to watch Minecraft and GTA V mainly.

No

You need patience for that.

For example, I've been watching Gronkh regularly for years and he often said that even he only got a few clicks for a long time. Clicks and success don't come overnight.

Do what you like and not what the others like. If you like both then do that then. You can also create two accounts.

As already said, what you feel like doing. If you try to achieve something under pressure, the quality suffers. In the long run you lose loyal viewers and you get depressed yourself.

However, if you're trying to get videos / streams out like Minecraft or GTAV, I don't know if you're reaching people at all. Sooo many people play these games. There are also quasi "infinite" videos. If you don't bring anything unique, the viewer is more likely to be bored. Sure, you can do something about the two games, but then it has to really rip.

But if you just like to play, record, stream and edit for yourself, then it doesn't matter.

Sn

Streaming is not my thing, but I would say I edit quite well to my size. But even if I have a good cut, it hardly works. So far I've only rarely done voiceovers but then put private ones because it was cringing myself; / I might try again.
