So a friend and I had put together and assembled a PC for him. (Rx 5700, Ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB RAM). We have now run minecraft on it as a very simple test, which is not even technically gpu but actually purely the CPU. He has no dropouts in the game, (freezes) so the vram will not be used. It has around 50-60 fps permanently, which is definitely not enough for this system. What can that be? Drivers for gpu and CPU are installed. It is currently still running on the Windows test version because the key is not there yet
Missing driver
single channel ram
or ram too slow
I once had the same problem but different setup. For me it was so that the cooler was no longer on the processor. I loosened it somehow or I didn't fasten it properly.
Maybe that's the case with you too
But the current build of Windows?
Current AMD graphics driver from the website?
Vsync out?
Cooling checked?
If it is too hot, it will automatically cycle down
