I recently installed new parts in my PC. Got a new motherboard (MSI Tomahawk max), a new processor (Ryzen 5 3600) and new 16GB RAM. After installation, I reinstalled Windows, but now, for example, I still only have 60fps in MInecraft (no, it's not limited). So I wanted to ask what that could be.
Could it be that the screen itself is set to 60Hz in windows?
Yes, but even if I only have a 60Hz screen, I would still have to have more fps right? (Screen is overclocked to 80Hz)
Can be wrong but the FPS can't be higher than the frequency.
Does Minecraft have something like V-Sync that could still be one?
Well, do the fps go above 60fps?
The fps can be higher than the hz number.
I could also imagine something like v sync.
Yes they move in the range of 58-62 but never go higher even if they are set to unlimited
Vsync on?
Say in general: Minecraft is not a graphic cracker, shouldn't it also run smoothly with moderate hardware?
Minecraft runs on a toaster at 200 + fps
How do you look
