I have the following problem: When I just wanted to open one of my programs, I noticed that many are simply gone.
These are: Apex Legends, Battle Net, Minecraft, Uplay, Far Cry 5, OBS, Open Office, Skype, WoW, Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Bandicam. All the programs that were on my PC yesterday. I do not know if it's been like that all day, because I did not pay attention, but I did not uninstall or change anything. Today I was only online to surf the internet.
The programs are all still in the Tastkleiste and in the directory shown, but when clicking on it says that the file was deleted or moved and in the folders you will find only a few small files where the same is displayed.
Does anyone know what happened there? Is there something known, for example, to an update or something? Or what can you do about it? Restore points I've never done in Windows unfortunately. It would be really annoying to reinstall everything.
Have you recently downloaded and installed something? Unknown pages open? Maybe a malware / virus?
I would advise you to check your system with "AdwCleaner" and clean it up. Is completely free of charge quiet once a week over.

I once had a virus years ago that just uninstalled every program in the background. Yes incredible, there really is something like that! Shame!
