I have a 144hz monitor and only play 2 games, CS: GO and Minecraft and I generally work a lot with the PC (cutting videos, Photoshop, etc…) Would it be worth having 96hz more?

Honest? No, would not even be noticeable, ergo save you the money 😉
I also edit videos and photos and "only" use a 144. Even a 6oHz would be ok in this case.

You can see the difference with (a practiced), naked eye minimally, I would advise against it if you don't want to gamble at a very high level.
