I'm looking for a PC and am considering whether to get a ryzen 5 or an Intel i7. (I mainly want to play minecraft with it)
You can't say it like that.
You have to define which i7 and which R5 you mean.
These are both series, not processors.
If only because amd is the correct company
What makes one company more correct than the other?
There are a few hundred different models, so you have to be more specific
I have both.
I7 as a server, AMD Ryzen 5 on the notebook I'm writing about.
16 Gb ram, 1 Terrayite SSD. 17 inch.
Does not make a difference.
Oh sry didn't know that this was so important. I mean RYZEN 5 5600X or Intel® Core i7-9700KF (8 x 3.6 GHz - 4.9 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 2666 MHz Crucial. Is that enough information?
The 5600X is significantly faster
But it should definitely be paired with 3600MHz + RAM, 2666MHz gives away massive power
