Host Minecraft Server on your own PC?
As the title suggests, I would like to run a Minecraft server on my PC because the online hosts are too expensive for me. It should be a mod server for about 300 mods and 8 players. Got an I7-9700KF, an RTX 2070 Super and 16GB 2666mhz Ram. I already have the server files on my PC, my problem is that I can't do it with the port release… I have a Telekom Speedport Smart 3. Can someone tell me what I have to enter so that my Minecraft server can be reached from anywhere:

The port is 25565 TCP, you can forget UDP, it will not be used…
The IP that you have to enter in the router is the local IP of your computer (192.168.xxx.xxx).
The IP that your teammates need is your public IP, which you can read on https://www.wieistmeineip.de…
If you have an Ipv6, it works the same way, except that the activation is then an opening of the router firewall and that you always have to write the IP in square brackets…
