Minecraft PvP has something to do with skills. As far as I know you need:
As many FPS (frames per second) as possible so as not to lose sight of the enemy
Response times if e.g. The enemy turns around you to confuse you
Some helpful tips that are on the Internet e.g. If the opponent has you in a combo, run backwards to get out of it, if the opponent is chasing you, turn around quickly and place blocks in his way, etc.
PvP is difficult to teach or be taught, it takes practice and understanding (e.g. The tricks). The most important thing is to practice to think ahead of what your opponent will do next, similar to chess. I hope this helps you.
