I have a server from 4netPlayers as a hoster. Also costs money.
I normally have 120 FPS in Minecraft with the following settings:
Graphics mode: nice
Visibility: 8 chunks
Biome transition: 5x5 (normal)
Soft lighting: maximum
NO OPTIFINE
But on my 4netPlayers server I only have about 30-40 FPS with the same settings! I tried the whole thing again on a free (low quality) Aternos server, there the FPS are normally around 120.
Do you know why I have so little FPS on a paid server?
PS: It's a big map, but the same one that I had in single player at 120.
Contact support.
Why is there a good question if everyone just points out the support anyway
Because the support runs the server and knows what you have… And is paid for its performance.
We're not a PC support forum…
We answer questions - for free…
Because the support can solve the problem? Do we know how the servers are set up here? How do they run? How many FPS do you support? I don't work at 4Players.
FPS is how fast your PC can render Minecraft. In general, FPS have absolutely nothing to do with the performance of the server, but only with the performance of your PC.
