Hey Does anyone have any experience with Falix Nodes? Is it a good free Minecraft host? Or are there better alternatives?
A VServer is of course best. But if you don't have any experience with VServers, I would recommend MC-Host. Customer support and prices are good with them.
I tested it and didn't find it good. Performance and creation process was poor and you join 20 Discord servers without warning.
Aternos is recommended for modpacks (or the only one where modpacks are possible). Not really lag free.
Mc4u takes a little longer to create and has minimum usage values. So not just to gamble. Is online 24/7.
PloudOS is good too.
Server.pro and skynode.pro probably offer the best performance. Prefer the latter.
Since the new versions need a lot of resources, a paid server is definitely worth it (sparkedhost, humbleservers, mine-hoster.de)
