Find a RootServer provider?

My friend and I want to get a root server to start our project. However, we don't know where best. We have too little idea to even say yes the provider is good and the provider is not. That's why we wanted to look again for other opinions. We plan to install a teamspeak and a game server on the root server. It's about the game Minecraft. We only need to install 2 servers for the first 1 lobby, 1 CB, if your provider had ideas that would also help with DDoS attacks, or attacks in general. Would be nice to hear your opinion.

Hetzner is good and cheap - regardless of whether it is a dedicated server or cloud VPS.

In this regard, I would ask All-Inkl.com whether they can help you there. As far as I know, it doesn't offer a root server (which would also be quite expensive), but it does offer managed servers and that from 99.95 euro a month!

I have also had very good experiences with MC-Host24.de, great performance in my opinion, prepaid system but also PayPal, paysafe etc. But they are only V-roots. As for the ram, you have to see how you put it together, as we don't know how many players are playing on the server…

Oii with 2 servers you don't need to use classic root servers directly. Normal VPS are enough. (Some providers call their vServer root server, it's a bit confusing)

If I were you, I would start with one

Start 2-4 cores 4-8GB RAM KVM vServer and see if it runs smoothly. It shouldn't cost more than 5-15 euro per month, there are even hosters for less than 10 euro.

Use PaperSpigot for your Mc Server and use Aikar's flags as JVM arguments (increase performance). For the proxy server, I would recommend Waterfall instead of bungee cord.

DDoS protection is part of many and in general you are not an interesting victim for a DDoS attack
