I need urgent help! I have an ASUS gaming notebook with a 1660ti and a Ryzen 7 3750H. The problem is that I can no longer get over 110FPS in Minecraft. And since I have a 120hz display, I think it's a shame. But back to the topic. Almost 7 months ago I played Minecraft very actively. But there was a bug with Asus Aura (I played with 260-300fps). That's why I had to reset my notebook. Of course, I got Minecraft again and wanted to play it right away. But when I was on any 1.8.9 server I noticed that I had no FPS. It's been going on for a month now. Of course I also took over my graphic settings. Everything as it was then. I play on the Labymod 1.8.9 with Optifine. Now my question is why is it so. Of course I also put my RAM in superscript. It just doesn't help. So I would like to know a reinstall would help?! It's only like this in Minecraft!
On servers you generally have less fps because the skins of the players have to be rendered. Most servers also have a very large spawn that can pull fps quite well.
But take the latest version.
And of course your fps also go down when you turn up the settings. So just make a render distance or something like that.
As I mentioned, I have it like before. Very low. Everything low… I don't even have a flatworld anymore and of course they are not limited either.
Update drivers etc.
Everything already done… So got the latest driver version etc
How old is the laptop? And is minecraft installed on an ssd or hdd?
It's on my SSD and I've had the laptop for about a year. I think that is not the main problem, but could it be that Minecraft is using my r7 which is inside the CPU even though Minecraft shows my 1660ti?
No, not really, but you can still try changing the graphics processor. Update your Java if necessary. And if that doesn't help, reinstall Minecraft. And if that doesn't help, then close all background programs. And if that doesn't help, send Log.
I'll do it tomorrow.
Well.
