I would like the port for my Minecraft server via https://portmap.io/#

share, but I do not know how to adjust it, can someone help who has experience?

Ultimately, portmap is just a port manager, not a port release.

I'm assuming that you want to run a server on your PC and Daddy doesn't allow ports to be opened in the router.

If you want I can host you a little game server.

Gladly.

But, I asked this question to host a server with me without having to pay any money and that my IP remains hidden XD

Yeah, hosting something like this is not the finest now. Unless you have a bad line. The problem is always that, as far as I know, you can't open a port via a VPN, because then there would be security gaps for the VPN hoster.

Just rent a server if you want something bigger. Otherwise, just share yours with a few friends.

Otherwise you can also buy a domain, which is then pointed to your IP via Cloudflare protected.

I have a 32GB Ram server at home, so I'm not buying a game server, and you don't need a blatant line?! I have tested it.

And to the statement that you can't release ports over a VPN, I would like to ask you whether you have looked over the portmap.io website, or have ever heard of "VPN tunnels".

So don't mean bad, but if you have no idea about it, don't answer this post.

Blatant leadership regarding DDoS attacks. Not upload / download. Don't think that you have 2000 euro firewall hardware next to your router.

As I said, the simplest method without unnecessary VPN tunnel stuff, which would also be 100% incompatible with Bungeecord: Domain → CloudFlare → SRV Record → Minecraft Server

That's exactly why I want to hide my server's IP through Portmap.io so that it doesn't happen xD

vo

That's exactly why you should use Cloudflare xD

mo

But suppose I hid my domain, or it runs over the VPN, how does someone want me if he doesn't have my real IP?

vo

You can't 100% open ports via a public VPN. As I understand it, Portmap.io is intended for companies where the company network acts as a VPN tunnel + possible port forwarding.

If you hide your IP via Cloudflare. Does the domain work: e.g. As in my case "milchcraft.de" like a proxy forwarding. Cloudflare Proxy → Real IP → MC Server. VPNs are pretty complicated anyway.

mo

And if I connect them via Cloudflare, can't you find out what the real one is?

vo

Nope.

mo

And how do I set this up or what do I have to configure at Cloudflare?

vo

If you don't have a domain, you have to set the name servers to those of Cloudflare.

mo

But is the free version of Cloudflare enough to hide the IP?

vo

Jup. You can also get free freedom on Freenom.

mo

All right, and then do I have to set anything in Cloudflare?

vo

Yes, SRV Records.

mo

But the port on my router must already be released, right?

vo

Jap.

mo

Ok, and if you then ping the domain in cmd, you will see the cloudflare ip and no longer his

vo

Right

mo

Is it also possible to set a CNAME because my IP is constantly changing and I therefore use a DNS tool so that it is always updated to this domain

vo

Which provider / router do you have?

mo

Telekom and a Fritz box

vo

Think at Fritzbox you can assign a static IP to your server. With Telekom routers the IP changes every 24 hours as far as I know.

mo

Would it also work if I make a CNAME entry in Cloudflare and then switch on the "Cloudflare proxy"?

vo

CNAME → your IP

Then subdomain such as: join.deineip.net without Cloudflare proxy.

SRV Record → Subdomain.

Just watch the video.

mo

I have, but the IP of a normal router always changes and therefore the dns tool sends the new ip to the domain again and again, but I can't resolve it to an ip

vo

Then cname to the DNS IP / Sub Domain.

mo

With record A?

vo

You just have to do cname and srv records. Just watch the video bro

mo

I have, but he has a fixed IP, I have a cname but I have now simply directed the srv to the cname let's see if it works

mo

So that about Cloudflare does not work. The IP address remains visible in the lookup, but Portmap.io functions quite normally as port forwarding. I have now put a TS server in there, it can be reached anywhere with the VPN IP
