Low fps despite high end hardware in minecraft?

I have the problem that Minecraft runs at only 60 FPS despite the strong PC components. How can i solve this?

Hardware:

Ryzen 7 3800x

GeForce RTX 2070 Super

32 GB Corsair Ram (16 Minecraft assigned)

If your frame rates never go above 60 frames per second, you've probably set an FPS limit.

I set the following in minecraft: 1920 x 1080p 144hz 24 bit

So if you have Nvidia, go to Control Panel (from Nvidia) and disable V-Sync there too. The same if you have AMD. If you have G-Sync (from Nvidia) or Freesync (from AMD), deactivate this as well.
