Pc is running worse than expected?

So I have the feeling (I don't know myself so well with PCs, etc.) that my PC is running worse than it should.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X

GraKa: RTX 2070 Great

Ram: 16GB DDR4 3200

Mainboard: ASUS B 350 F Gaming

Either my expectations are simply too high, but not even Minecraft with a 128x texture pack and low shader runs at over 60 FPS. By the way, I play on Full HD.

Minecraft (I'm referring to the Java Edition) is a relatively poorly optimized game what do you expect from a game that is based on single core performance if you have a CPU that is only mediocre in single core performance?
