COD less FPS with new monitor?

Moin, I have had a new 144hrz monitor (Full HD) 27 inches for 1 week and now I have the problem that I only get 40-50 FPS zsm in COD and GTA 5 although I have already changed the hrz number because I had one before 60hrz monitor (Full HD) 24 inches and since everything ran without problems with 80 FPS, I only have my 200 FPS in CS: GO and 800 FPS in Minecraft, but with other games I can no longer manage the previous 80 FPS despite that everything is already set to very low and I got zsm on my old monitor on Ultra 80 FPS.

Do you have any idea what that could be or a solution?

En

Activision is currently having problems with the servers. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Ho

The refresh rate of the monitor is independent of the FPS that your GPU delivers.

Make sure your system is running at 144 Hz. To do this, go to the Windows monitor settings: https://www.netzwelt.de/...lrate.html

Addendum:

Update your graphics card driver. Or use an older version under which this still worked. Make sure that the driver does not set or overwrite any FPS limits and that no adaptive frame rate limit is active.

Ho

As long as the graphic calculations are not outsourced to their servers, this is not a possible cause.

My system is already running at 144 Hz, how do I deactivate all FPS limits?

Ho

That depends on your GPU or the driver. With AMD cards, Radeon Chill and any frame rate limits should be deactivated globally or, if necessary, for individual games. At Nvidia look e.g. In the control panel under the global or program-specific settings, whether it says "Max Framerate" somewhere. See e.g. Here https://www.howtogeek.com/509097/how-to-set-a-maximum-frame-rate-in-nvidias-drivers/ just that you are doing the opposite of the guide. ^^
