I've been playing Minecraft Java Edition since 2015 and have never had any problems, I've always played on a very old laptop but switched to a gaming laptop two years ago but now the problem comes, minecraft has not been working properly for a few months. That means I can no longer sift things in chests and not take out, then I must always click the items three, four times until it can be stacked at all. I also looked if it is because my shift key is broken but for example on Word, it works great. Can someone please help me because on the nerves that's right.

Yes I have tried to restart minecraft but the problem remained. I looked in the controls but I do not know what to look for
Just reset the controls. If it does not work, reinstall Minecraft again.
Are all drivers and Windows Update up to date? Which built-in components does your laptop have? Ever tried with external keyboard?
