How can you find out the fps in the games?
You have to press F3 in Minecraft then you will see your FPS.
Install Optifine. Then you can turn on the fps display in the video settings.
So with Minecraft you can just press F3.
Otherwise I advise you depending on what kind of graphics you have tools like AMD adrenaline software or NVIDIA (don't remember exactly what that means). These are the software for your graphics card. There you can read out the FPS but also many more like: GPU temperature etc.
Edit: For most games you can also have Inggame display the FPS. Just google the game "display in xxx FPS"
