When I get my PC, I and a friend of mine want to play Minecraft together (on their PC)
we then want to create a world on my PC where it can join. There are said to be around 60 mods in the world. It has a total of 8GB RAM and I have a total of 16GB RAM. I would like to feed my Minecraft 8GB or feed the world so much. But when you join the world with 8GB RAM, are your 8GB all used up? Or should I just add 4GB to the world so that all of its RAM is not used up?
Minecraft only uses as much RAM as it needs.
It doesn't matter whether you give your Minecraft 8 GB or 200 GB. Your girlfriend will only consume as much as needed.
No, your Minecraft client is assigned 8GB from your pc. You can't adjust that to worlds. And after how much ram your girlfriend has set, use her ram (max. 4GB I would say)
Minecraft takes as much RAM as it needs. You don't have to set anything (ice silk you have set any restrictions. Then you should remove them).
I think that you - even with 60 mods - crack the 8GB RAM (or 7 or even 6, depending on which OS you use) quite unlikely.
You can only assign RAM to the server and your client and of course only as much as you have. If Minecraft uses too much, the PC may crash if there's nothing left for the system.
Incidentally, I can imagine that it will be difficult with the 60 mods.
It depends on which is my CPU and my RAM at 80% (9 3950X 32GB (2x 16GB CL 16 16 36)
You also have nothing better to do every day or.
Well. 60 mods are not too much. And 8GB ram? Yikes, that's a lot. Of course. It may happen that the 8GB is used. But you can only notice this by trying it out. Minecraft uses as much ram as it needs.
And well. You can even play mobile phones on MC servers. And hardly any cell phone has 8GB Ram. Therefore I would simply say that the 8GB Ram are difficult to complete.
So I'm defiled. You can play 60 mods with 8GB
No. I have not. ^^
Usually you have to assign this in the launcher.
How much RAM should I allocate?
So can my girlfriend possibly even get there with 4GB RAM?
8 increase if that's not enough, 16 assign leads to an unstable system.
I think 8 GB should be enough. At least that's what everyone says
Why should 60 mods be difficult?
There are mod packs with significantly more mods
Handy version = / = PC version
Not even the programming language is the same.
The Java (Pc) version consumes more power and RAM
I can imagine that it eats performance properly.
So I had the following components for a very long time:
AMD Phenom II x4 965
And then some old AMD Radeon HD graphics card.
I even played mod packs of around 200 mods
