I've only had this problem for a few days:
When I'm on my PC normally (mostly gaming, but also office), my screen suddenly turns green and my PC restarts on it. In the beginning I only had the problem about once a day and my PC kept running and after a few seconds the picture was back. As of today, however, my PC has also stopped responding and it has happened twice in the last half hour. Open programs: Chrome, Minecraft, Discord.
Hardware:
GPU: AMD Radeon rx 5700xt driver: 20.2.2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
Mainboard: Asus B450-f
Nothing overclocked and power supply is enough.
Have already recrystallized all drivers via DDU, which has not changed anything.
Take all the cards out of your PC, vacuum everything thoroughly (especially the fans and card slots) and put everything back together.
I have the same problem sometimes.
Have the normal RX5700.
If you have the green screen, just unplug the HDMI cable and then back in again.
For me it has been fixed, for the moment.
Try what the other answerers advise. What you can also try is to install the previous graphics card driver. It is also possible that the driver does not work with your system.
I also think your PC has a heat problem due to too much dirt inside. Clean!
Green screen and only or mainly when gaming, that sounds like problems with the graphics. In connection with the crash, I would guess that the graphics card would be too warm.
Now let MSI run afterburner while gaming. The graphics card had a normal temperature of approx. 57 ° C.
Utilization approximately 20%.
Is not a heat problem. My graphics card was only about 57 degrees warm when I crashed.
Your graphics card is not the only component. And the heat sensor doesn't do it three times.
But never mind. You don't have to do it.
