At Mindfactory there are just 20 euro between the two. Is it worth installing the R7 on an MSI b450 Tomahawk MAX or should I prefer the cheaper R5?
As I said: I have the MSI b450 Tomahawk MAX. With the CPU and an RX 580 GraKa I want to play Battlefield V, Minecraft and SEA of Thives. So is the surcharge worth it?
If your main focus is on gaming, then I highly recommend the Ryzen 3600. It only has 6 cores and 12 threads, but it has a higher single core performance, which is important for gaming.
However, if you want to edit or stream video besides gaming, I would rather recommend the 2700X. Then the 2 cores could be an advantage.
20 euro that are simply not worth it. Sorry but I'm for the Ryzen 5

It is definitely the more powerful CPU, of the two.
