Minecraft (change durability)?

Can you change the durability of tools in Minecraft by command or something so that you can use them only once or more often than usual?

If so, can you explain how it works?

Yup. Create the object with a command and then dump the durability into the command. Just look on the internet for the command

I've been looking for / give @p golden_sword 1 45

The first number should be the amount and the second then the durability. For me, however, the durability so the second number is always displayed in red and the command is not executed.
