Is a Ryzen 5 2600 enough?

I decided to build a gaming PC, but I have a small budget. So I decided to get an MSI b450 tomahawk MAX motherboard, a Sapphire RX 570 and a Ryzen 5 2600. The mainboard is so expensive because I want to upgrade with a better CPU later. Now the question is whether an R5 2600 with an RX 570 is enough to play Battlefield 5, Minecraft, and SEA of Thives. Or should I go for an R5 3600? Does this significantly change gaming performance? Or should I buy an RX 580 instead? I still have 50 euro free.

Which of these 3 options should I take?

Ze

The ryzen is good

Ja

If you assemble a new computer in 5 years, the CPU Sokel will probably no longer fit. Therefore, it makes less sense to put too much into the mainboard.

You also don't need a max mainboard for this. Even if you want to upgrade in the future, you will definitely not go from ryzen 2000 to ryzen 3000, because that would be pointless. Cpus is upgraded after about 2-4 years, which is why you will probably go for an am5 cpu anyway, or a newer Intel cpu, who knows?

Max is an absolute waste of money!

Th

I do not think so.

Th

OK, and what do you recommend for a board?

sp

If you have about 100 euro: Gigabyte b450 aorus pro

Ja

Believe what you think and remember it in a few years… If the DDR5 Ram and a newer CPU do not fit.

Th

The Tomahawk is better and costs 110 euro

Th

Do you think 110 euro is sooo much? Can you afford it every 5 years?

sp

The tomahawk is worse and costs 3 euro more.

The Gigabyte b450 aorus pro has a better sound chip, more voltage converter phases and better voltage converter coolers.

You have no plan, do you?

Th

And has the ITX format.

sp

Is that a question or just bad grammar?

Th

So I have several reasons why I don't take the Aorus Pro. And now really, you can afford a new board every couple of years, right? I tend to R5 3600 anyway. And if I do, I don't want to have any problems with the board. Most cheap boards have one. And I'm not an overclocked one, so I don't really care about cooling. And according to the ratings, the Tomahawk is good.

Ja

A lot is relative… If that is not a lot for you, why don't you put in the computer anymore?
