Moin, I wanted to start playing Minecraft yesterday, but I notice that the entire screen flickers. Not this Optifine chunk error or something, but as if the screen was broken because the screen lights up in certain areas with every fast movement (not during normal walking). However, I don't have the whole thing in windowed mode, and even if I'm in the options in Minecraft and move the mouse over different buttons, the flickering may also occur. This is not the case with other games.
Graphics card: rx5700xt driver up to date
Processor: r5 2600x
RAM: 16GB
I hope you can help me because I also stream and only in full screen.
Set the resolution down, can it be that your monitor is old?
I bought it two weeks ago. I was able to play on WQHD before. It just didn't work from day to day (or the flickering came from day to day), I can see if that helps with the resolution.
Look at the resolution. What does your graphics card say? If necessary, for me the thing that was due to the cable was that from the pc to the monitor.
The resolution doesn't change anything. My graphics card is at 30%. The cable is new and it is only so with MC
So putting the resolution down didn't do anything.
